Me too Jim, there's a lot of bitterness from many PNE supporters at Billy but with a bit more backing from Derek Shaw and the board that would have been PNE. A bitter pill to swallow.

If Carl Hawley can net more goals than Nugent this season (which shouldn`t be too difficult) then the blow of loosing Nuge will soon be forgotten.
Simpson inherited a real mess and I feel he should be given a season `doing it his way`, before we can pass judgment on him.

Agreed Jim. The club has drawn Morecambe at home in the Carling Cup 1st round as well, which is a bit of a step up for Morecambe.

I didn't go on on Saturday Tony but those who did said they could see a big diference in class between the 2 teams, that's what the £50 million pound buys.
