Hey Noel; Take a look at this BBC PNE page, and the North End manager's comment....I didn't know he was back, did you [?]
Preston manager Billy Davies:
"They were disappointing goals to concede. I know that Carlo Nash will take some stick for his mistake but these things happen and he has been a different class for us this season.
"It was a freaky goal and we have to accept it.
"We had done really well to get back to 2-2 and we deserved something from the game at that stage.
"It is no shame losing to Albion as I believe they will be there or thereabouts at the end of the season."

Joe Walton sadly passed away on New Year's Day. RIP Joe.
North End Legend Joe Walton sadly passed away on New Year's Eve, the Club's condolences and best wishes go to his family and friends.
The Manchester-born defender was one of the very few players to have made well over 400 appearances for the Lilywhites and he will be fondly remembered by many.
Born in June 1925, Walton was signed by North End from Manchester United in 1948 having already made a name for himself at Old Trafford. He played a big part in the next few years, with a promotion, an FA Cup runner up medal and a League runner up as well.
A full obituary will appear in Saturday's matchday programme and a minute's silence will be observed before the FA Cup clash with Sunderland to remember this sad news.
The best wishes of everyone at PNE are sent to Joe's son Neil and his daughter Lynne, as well as the rest of his family and friends. Joe was well known in the area, having lived in Fulwood and having run a newsagents in the area for many years and he will be sorely missed.

It's goals that count not verbals. Billy had the last laugh I guess.
Can we beat Sunderland three times running ? It won't be easy will it ? If they do, I've won a $15 bet with my Geordie mate, if they don't, I've still got five $$$ coming.
And Noel, will Nugent be around much longer ?

There will be a minute's silence at the Sunderland game in respect of Joe.
Re Nugent rge club are reported to have turned down a £6million bid from Sheff U which if true I find absolutely staggering. It was reported on Talk Sport Radio. Derek Shaw is refusing to mention anything at all re Nugent so every one is in the dark. He's good and destined for a bigger club at some point as has every other player with above average skills since the maximum wage was abolished. How did we manage to hold onto the Black Prince so long?

Looks like you won your bet David.
Yep, $15, drinks are on me....well Sunderland ;-)
And United scraped thru so I'm a happy camper this weekend.
Crystal Palace !! Didn't they knock us out of the Cup last season ?
