A slightly belated Bonne Annee to one and all- anyway, in France we're allowed traditionally to give New Year greetings until the end of the month... so I'm quite early!

I was in Turkey 9th - 12th January and the hotel was only taking down its Christmas decorations and Happy New Year signs on the morning of 12th. Perhaps they were working on the Julian calendar?
