Preston North End 2007-2008 Discussion
Apparently, QPR are now the richest club in the world. Will they do a `Jack Walker` and buy the Championship next year I wonder? No amount of money will help, if it isn`t spent wisely under the hand of a good manager.

2 - 2 a bit disappointing to lose a 2 goal lead, but only 4 games left so they could be in the top half of the table by the end of season.

Well, Sheffields two games in hand (that we received dire predictions about) only yielded two points. Points that are actually in the bag are the only ones that count.

Barnsley had a good win though at Watford, let's hope they don't do the double over us like so many of the lower teams have done this season.

Noel, I think that Irvine won`t let it happen. This team won`t buckle.
What`s the news on Chaplow? He scores two goals in his last game and hasn`t been heard of since.

Chaplow picked up an injury and while he was unavailable, Carter has suddenly found the form that made us pay £750k for him, so now Chaplow is fit again he's sat on the subs bench and usually comes on near the end. I like Chaplow, I liked his style when he played for the Dingles, would love to see him back in the side.

The only good thing to come out of todays results is the fact that the Donkey Lashers are only two points above the drop. How very sad [:p].

We're all DOOMED![xx(]

Barnsley are one of those teams that can produce results when the odds are against them, which is why they beat Liverpool and Chelsea. They are fighting to stay in the Championship so it was always going to be a tough game.

Should Sheff.W. win on Monday, they would jump up four places then have the MASSIVE game against B`Pool on Saturday.
I think the relegation picture will be a lot clearer come Saturday evening. (thank goodness we are no longer involved in it).
