Jim; You need to get your prediction soap box out again to help North End move up the table. You predicted that they would be out of the bottom three by Christmas, and they did just that, until Boxing Day. Since then they have been mired in the bottom three which isn't very promising considering they beat two of the league leaders.
Seems to me there are only two solutions that could help them... Noel staying away from Deepdale, and you prophesying them moving up. Other than that, I think they're doomed for the drop. [ ]

I think the management change ( benefit of hindsight) was just a month too late) to rely on North End's results alone saving them, however look at Barnsley and Sheff Wed, their form at the moment is a big help. Barnsley have lost their German keeper who was one of the main reasons they were doing so well.

Ready for what? I read about Nugent at lunchtime [
][ ] Anyway, why would we want him? He went off the boil long before he moved to Pompey. That £6M fee was the best bit of business PNE have done in many a long year.

And why would he go to Preston anyway when promotion chasing Ipswich want him. Wouldn't make sense would it.
What did you think of the England match...two well engineered goals but that was about it eh ? USA 2 - 2 Mexico Played in Houston, Texas. Full house 70,000. 50,000 Mexicans and 20,000 Yanks.

Quite frankly I'd sooner he went to Ipswich, the current players are just beginning to look a very good team. England? they were a bit nervous I thought. Very good goals but
was the 2nd offside?? It looked very close to me.

North End's new arrival Grzegorz Szamotulski.
I'll bet money he wasn't born on the Callon. [ ][ ]
