Well done Preston for giving Derby a good seeing to.

Martin, I still can`t believe it, although the commentator did say, on more than one occasion, that he could see the hand of Irvine on the shape of the team.
Great as it feels at the moment, Tuesday night against West Brom is far more important to us than who we draw at 1.30PM on Monday.

You are right Jim, today's game means nothing unless we draw Man U away next round. Tuesday night is far more important. Good to see the team slowly improving from the long ball stuff under Simpson. Let's hope there is still time to get out of the mess they are in. The Twellman deal is still on, Shaw said that they were still trying to get him in and would only give in when it was too late for the transfer window, Tuesday next week being the lates they can wait to complete formalities, medicals etc.

My thoughts exactly Noel..the draw v Man U away. They, PNE, have their backs to the wall in their fight to avoid relegation. Not only are they a minimum four points behind their nearest rivals but both Sheff. Wed. and Leicester have much better goal differences which is as good as another point at this stage. I'm up and ready for the MU v Spurs game live here at 6:00am.
If it's raining there like it is here it will be postponed. It's comimg down by the bucketful and has been all night long.

But with todays result Sheff United 2 v 1 Man City perhaps PNE could get Sheff Utd at Deepdale...they could well beat them and be in the last 8 ??

I think they've a good chance David, Bristol Rovers, Oldham, Coventry Cardiff, Sheff U, all very beatable.

But we want Man U away.[Big Grin]
