Why did I know that this gloating post would be there - even before I read it. Remember one thing - the race isn`t always to the swiftest. If you are still correct in May, I`ll hold my hands up. I`m still quite certain that won`t be necessary though.

I have my opinions and if it's OK with you I would like to post them.
I really do enjoy though the way you always react to whatever it is I post. It does make for interesting reading when you blow your top like that. Let me ask you a very straight forward question...Did Colchester beat Preston ? Let me answer that for you...YES[/b] So what was gloating ? Try to calm down mate, most of what I post is tongue in cheek just to get the page posting. It works in your case.

We were discussing in the pub the other day the stupidity of the Foreign Premier League's 'dubious goals committee', oh sorry, I meant English Premier League, but there are so many foreigners in it I keep forgetting its name. But anyway, about this stupid dubious goals committee.For those of you that don't realize there is such a thing, the FA (English Football Association), have assembled a 'committee' to decide who scored what goal. Now these guys aren't even at the games where these 'dubious goals' were scored. And before we go any further I want everyone to be very clear on this...this is an [b]English thing. Even the Yanks couldn't think of this one.
I think, this is how it supposedly works....A player takes a shot, or a header at the goals, the ball brushes by another player, maybe even touches him and the ball enters the goals....Who scored it ??
I think it's like a month later that the 'dubious goals committee meets to decide the outcome.
You know, England invented, well they didn't invent the game but they did back in 1863 document the first Laws of the Game. It's taken them 144 years, is that right 1863-2008, maybe 145 years to come up with this, this, this stupidity.
In season 1927-28 Dixie Dean, playing for Everton score what is still a record 60 league goals....I'm wondering....will the 'committee' take some off him. [8D][}][8D]
And think of this...North End are having one hell of a time scoring goals this season, that's why they are being relegated, now if the 'dubious goals committee' starts taking goals off them, they could finish up not having scored all season. WOW[/b] [}]
