Glad to know it was not killed but scary stuff, we are lucky here on Crete to my knowledge we have none here Peter.............

I think Australia has a monopoly on poisenous spiders. I've never seen a spider on any of the Greek Islands or in Turkey for that matter.

Maybe its the geckos who keep the spiders down, I saw a few geckos in Turkey while out and about.
