I didn't see the game so can't really say if we played well or not.

But of course we can always use the excuse that it was only a friendly.

England still have a bit of work to do.

Of course they don't Noel. Like all fierce critics of England they want instant success. Isn't 2 games long enough to build a world beating team?

It's a good job PNE didn't take that stance with Irvine because he seems to be coming good in the long run.

I'll be more interested in seeing England's first competitive game.
