I didn't even watch the race - daughter needed "an emergency shopping ship" - a last minute invite to an 18th birthday party and, allegedly, nothing to wear. Funnily enough, when we looked in her wardrobe together this morning, I could have put together at least four acceptable party outfits from the contents, but what do I know??? Sigh!
