Very nice too. Hull City had a special £5 admission deal and pulled in 23,000. 'nuff said.

It's nice to see Leeds wallowing in the murk isn't it [Big Grin]

Not complaining at all David, I wonder whether Bates still thinks the appointment of the new manager was a "Wise move"[8D]

UnWise perhaps?[Smile]
Noel; Just in case you didn't get the result of the golf tournament, see this...

And just in case you didn't read the whole article, this is worth reading...

Divots: John Daly was assured his largest paycheck of the year even if he finished last, which is what he did. Daly took a quintuple-bogey 8 on the par-3 third hole on his way to an 80 to finish at 9-over 297. He earned $170,000.

Don't ever think the football players earn too much again [}Smile]

That'll keep him in drinks for a week or two David.

- David - 19-Dec-2006

He is a big drinker but he also does a lot of charity work..

Probably one of the most charismatic players on tour. Remember Bill Werbenuik the late snooker player, he drank 10 pints of lager before a game and a pint after every frame he played, to cure a medical condition "a shake". He was prescribed a drug to conquer his addiction but the drug was on th ebanned list for snooker so he had to pack in in the 1980s. Split his trousers in the world championship one year and was wearing no underwear. Not a pleasant site.

Meanwhile back to North End, Paul Simpson has got a contract extension to 2011

I just hope they have an 'out clause' to that contract or they may be in his debt forever.
