Noel, You watched PNE on Streamingfootball ? I checked the site and only saw Premiership matches listed. Do they do the odd one or two Championship games? If so - It has to be the best £4.99 deal around. I`d definitely jump at the chance to sign up.

I wasn't too impressed at the quality Jim, it's nowhere near as clear as TV but I guess that's down to connection speed and video card, I've now got a PC with a separate graphics card plus Blueyonder at ??? speed. I found it fiddly to be honest and after 65 minutes Blueyonder crashed, so I missed the 2 winning North End goals. Since then I've found another free site, http://www.tvunetworks.com/downloads/index.htm and I watched the England U21 game v Moldova on that one and was able to see Nugent score his first International U21 goal. In response to your question, yes they do. The TVU site also does the odd championship game and also foreign league, Bunders, Spanish, Brazil etc, suggest you download that to begin with but also there's a lot of American stuff on, Baseball, Pool etc. schedules here http://www.football4less.com/schedules/schedules_20082006.html

Alan Smith made his first appearance since suffering a serious leg injury in February when he played for Manchester United's reserve team on Monday night.
Smith featured for 66 minutes of United's 7-2 Lancashire Senior Cup win over Preston at Deepdale.....

Well at least the 'A' team found the net twice at Deepdale which is more than the 'Others' can manage [?][Sad]

I see that Ricardo has gone full circle and returned to the championship - this time on a three year deal with Stoke. No doubt a little wiser (and richer).

I don't think I'd ever forgive that chap the way he sulked his way out of Deepdale, particularly after the club paid for his expensive operation in America and paid him full wages for 9 months while he recovered.

Planning permission has been granted for the 4th stand, great news though I'll be sad to see my place in the Pavilion knocked down. My favourite spot in there.
"Preston North End are delighted to announce that they have today been granted planning permission to redevelop the fourth stand at Deepdale.

The completion of the 5,000 seat stand will take the capacity of Deepdale up to 24,000 and finally complete the stadium as a state of the art home.

Speaking following the decision Chairman Derek Shaw was delighted with the news:

"We are very pleased, we will now push on finalising everything with the bank and the PCT (Primary Care Trust) and hopefully when we get everything in place we can push on with the scheme.

"At present we don't have a specific time frame these things don't happen very quickly, there are a lot of departments and meetings involved when you are dealing with somebody like the PCT and we have to have discussions with our bankers to make sure that al the money is in place but we will be doing everything we can to push things forward.

"The old stand is on its last legs, it is an embarrassment and the sooner we can get on with this the better. We have spoken with the health authority every week, there is a phenomenal amount of work that has gone on behind the scenes for this project and the sooner we can get lawyers and everybody together the better to get the scheme fully approved so we can get cracking.

"We can't wait to get on with it and we will keep people informed of any developments."

From the LEP....

Dave Nugent has been told to clean up his act after seeing red in Saturday's win over Cardiff.
The sending off completed a shocking start to the new season for the England Under-21 striker who has now been cautioned five times in seven matches – three of them for dissent.

So has a few good games gone to the petulant Nugent's head [?] He surely has to be losing grace with the England coaching staff with a record like that.
And that from a guy who can't stay awake long enough to have his photo taken.[}Smile][Image: TH1_218200644nugent_tired.JPG]
